The headline is meant to make you think that there is a new huge surge of Covid-19 cases in the world.
HEAD TRUTH:
There is no surge in cases. The world is testing more than ever, that is why we are "finding" more cases than before. These cases would be the ones NOBODY WOULD HAVE NOTICED if we weren't testing. If we never tested for the flu, we'd have "no flu cases". If we then began testing for the flu, we'd have TENS OF MILLIONS of cases!
